Designed for stronger bonds when using oily leathers the OZ boxtoe is constructed of a continuous-fiber base fabric impregnated with a proprietary resin. Applied to each side of the substrate are two different types of hot melt adhesives. The "O" adhesive is a high grade hot melt enabling stronger bonds to leathers with high oil content. The "O" also activates at lower temperatures so when applying the boxtoe to the upper lower temperatures can be used lowering the risk of damaging sensitive leathers. The "Z" hot melt coating is Stanbee's standard hot melt, which should be applied to the lining side.
