
Michael Berkson
President
Michael has been with the company for twenty years. He began his career at Stanbee working on the production line in manufacturing, R and D and quality control. He then moved into sales and sales management for a decade, helping the company tap expanding markets in Asia, Mexico and South America. He took over as Sales manager in 1992 and became president in 1998.
Robert Dalla Riva
Vice President and Controller
Robert has been with the company for ten years and is responsible for overseeing Stanbee's fiscal operations including accounting, treasury and financial reporting. He is involved in the day-to-day operations from production to planning and inventory management to customer pricing. Additionally, he serves as the President's advisor on all financial and business issues. Prior to joining Stanbee, Robert worked for a decade in public accounting, conducting audits and advising clients on accounting and business issues.
Leo Provencher
Director of Asian Operations
Footwear veteran, Leo G. Provencher, brings his extensive industry experience to Stanbee as their Director of Asian Operations. Leo has served as VP of Strategic Accounts at OIA Global Logistics, VP of Asian Operations for Paccess, and spent thirteen years at Nike in various capacities including production, pricing, distribution, quality assurance, and demand planning for footwear, equipment, and Nike Golf. Provencher's twenty-two years in the business encompasses an extensive range of management and production know-how. And with the opening of Stanbee's Thailand facility early last year, he will be a tremendous asset in bolstering their growing presence in Asia.
Bill Goodger
Plant Manager
Bill has been with the company for twelve years and supervises the manufacturing and development at the Carlstadt facility. He holds a Gold Seal operating engineer's license from the State of New York and has extensive experience in all areas of Stanbee's production and plant operations. Prior to joining Stanbee, Bill served as Engineering Manager for a fabric and leather company as well as an engineering officer in the shipping industry.
Bruce Goldberg
Technical Director
Bruce has been with Stanbee for ten years. He has a bachelors degree in chemical engineering and a masters degree in polymer science. He also has prior experience with Interchemical Corporation (BASF), Amerace Corporation and FMC Corporation. At these companies he developed many processes and products in the area of coatings, polymer and organic synthesis, electron beam cutting, rubber compounding, plastic and rubber processing, and polymer stiffener matrices for the footwear industry. He has helped to start up several manufacturing plants and holds 15 patents and has published numerous articles in scientific trade journals.
