NITRO FLEX®
Nitro Flex® is exceptionally flexible, moisture-resistant, and super sturdy, even after prolonged use. As with all of our Nitro products, we use our patented foaming process to infuse nitrogen gas into the material’s polymer core, thus displacing a portion of the core. This not only reduces weight, but improves performance. This low-activation, thermoplastic solution is ideal for either light-duty heel counters or heavy-duty box toes. Plus, it has more than 50% recycled content, and is available in our Zero Waste Net Part Program. Our standard offerings are listed below. Ask about custom options with and without laminates.

WORK PREPARATION
Cutting:
Cut in any direction to maximize yields.
Heat activation:
Bond-line temperature 85° to 95°C. Recommended 90°C.
CoOLING:
Cool product to ensure bond-line temperature of roughly 30°C before de-lasting.

COMPOSITION
Nitro FLEX® components are made from a proprietary blend of resins. Both outer layers have an exclusive hot-melt adhesive that bonds to all uppers, even leathers with a high oil content.

This product is part of our Stanbee Zero Waste Program. It is ordered by the part instead of by the sheet, and all cutting waste is recycled in house. Provide a DXF file of the full-size run, and we’ll deliver production-ready components.
