NITRO VERGE™
NITRO VERGE™ is a new, revolutionary extruded thermoplastic material that uses our patented foaming process of infusing NITROGEN gas into the polymer core of the material. The NITROGEN gas displaces a portion of the polymer core and still maintains the Stanbee edict of thinner, stronger, more resilient and now with the nitrogen gas infused, even lighter in weight. NITRO VERGE™ provides excellent shape retention, is very resilient and has a great flexible feel. In addition to all the performance advantages of unmatched resiliency, shape retention and moisture resistance, NITRO VERGE™ also contains up to 30% recycled content and is available in our Zero Waste Net Part Program. NITRO VERGE™ provides a very sustainable, high quality and cost-effective solution for your counter and box toe needs.

WORK PREPARATION
Cutting:
Cut in any direction to maximize yields
Heat activation:
Recommend bond line temperature of 90°C, +/- 5C
Cooling:
Recommend to use cold mold with temperature of 0*C to -5*C and sufficient dwell time to secure minimum bond-line temperature of 30*C or less

COMPOSITION
Nitro VERGE®
A proprietary polymer blend giving unique properties that reduces thickness and weight without sacrificing stiffness or resiliency. The polymer core is surrounded on both sides with our proprietary hot melt adhesive that will bond to all uppers including the most difficult, which includes high oil content leathers. 1M version available with polyester scrim on one side.
ZERO WASTE PROGRAM
This product is part of our Zero Wast Program and is ordered by the part instead of sheet format. This allows all the cutting waste to be recycled in house and provides a more sustainable solution. All that is required is a DXF file of the full size run and we will deliver ready for production toe puff and counters.
