NITRO VULC®

Nitro Vulc® is a high-quality, thermoplastic solution that offers exceptional flexibility, moisture resistance, and shape-retention. Like all Nitro products, it’s injected with a foaming process that displaces raw virgin materials, thereby reducing weight and improving performance. Nitro Vulc has more than 50% recycled content, and is available in a zero-waste, net-product, closed-loop solution. Note: Nitro Vulc is ideal when paired with an autoclave that reaches over 100°C. Molding is the preferred method of manufacture; heating or shaping the counter prior to lasting is also acceptable. Our standard offerings are listed below; ask about custom options.

WORK PREPARATION

Cutting: 
Cut in any direction to maximize yields.

Heat activation: 
Bond-line temperature 90°C to 110°C. Autoclave recommended.

Cooling: 
Allow sufficient dwell time to secure minimum bond-line temperature of 35°C.

COMPOSITION

Nitro VULC® is made from a proprietary, nitrogen-infused blend of resins. It contains at least 50% recycled materials and is especially well-suited for cold-cement and autoclave production. Both outer layers have a hot-melt adhesive that bonds to virtually all upper and lining materials.

ZERO WASTE PROGRAM

Nitro Vulc® is part of the Stanbee zero waste program. Provide a DXF file and we’ll cut the parts for you—then we’ll recycle the waste to make this an even greener solution.
