OUR HISTORY

History & Innovations

In 1948 Manny Berkson, a salesman at Davis Box Toe, set out to form a company that was as committed to customer services as it was to innovation. With his son Stan, he founded Stanbee. Shortly thereafter, Manny’s second son, Howard, joined the company to run its sales and marketing efforts—making Stanbee a true family business.

Now Manny’s grandson, Michael Berkson, serves as Stanbee’s CEO—and still follows his grandfather’s formula for success. That is, he prides himself on offering the most innovative products and unparalleled customer service. The results are easily tracked. During Michael’s tenure, the company has continually expanded its product line with innovative, environmentally friendly products. And now, more than 75 years after Manny first opened Stanbee’s doors, the company is still growing.
