NITRO FLEX

Nitro Flex is exceptionally flexible, moisture resistant, and retains its shape, even after prolonged use. This low-activation, thermoplastic solution is an ideal choice for light-duty heel counters or heavy-duty box toes. Plus, Nitro Flex is injected with a foaming process that displaces raw virgin materials, thereby reducing weight and improving performance. It has more than 50% recycled content, and is available in a zero-waste, net-product, closed-loop solution. Our standard offerings are listed below. WORK PREPARATION

Cutting: 
Cut in any direction to maximize yields.

Heat activation: 
Bond-line temperature 80°C to 90°C. Recommended 85°C.

CoOLING: 
Allow sufficient dwell time to secure minimum bond-line temperature of 30°C.

COMPOSITION

Nitro FLEX is made from a proprietary, nitrogen-infused blend of resins. It contains at least 50% recycled materials and is especially well-suited for cold-cement production. Both outer layers have a hot-melt adhesive that bonds to virtually all upper and lining materials.

ZERO WASTE PROGRAM

Nitro Flex is eligible for the Stanbee zero waste program. Provide a DXF file and we’ll cut the parts for you—then we’ll recycle the waste to make this an even greener solution.
